Pros small, light, large aperture

The EF35mm/2.0 is available for about $250 to $300 new and considerably less if bought used. Why would anyone buy this lens?

It fits a gap between a 24mm (or shorter) and a 50mm normal lens. The 24mm lens is great for landscape pictures, but it has very noticeable distortion when you try... Read full review »

Pros Near ideal normal lens for general purpose photography
Cons Should be lower in cost given it is a non USM lens
