Pros Build quality, Image Stabilization, good range of length so know need to change lenses .
Cons Weight, movement in the lens because of weight, price .
Recommended it? Yes

I was very surprised when I got it out of the box, it is a lot heavier than expected, which brings along the problem when you have the lens about halfway and look down or up than it opens or closes under it's own weight which is a problem sometimes but you are likely to be holding the lens anyway... Pros Sharp images, quick and quiet autofocus, great walking about lens.
Cons Terrible lens lock design, cheap parts, exteremly poor customer service.
Recommended it? No

Overall, this lens would normally get a 5-star rating from me.  It's sharp, quick to focus, quiet and not overly heavy. 

I bought it because it was the only lens in this focal lenth range with Image Stabilization.  I used it twice.  I was very happy with the operation... Read full review »
