Epinions Nintendo Wii: Gaming brought to a whole new level.

by  yakkowarner,  Jan 7, 2007
Pros: Innovative gameplay, Plays GameCube games, emulates older games, small.
Cons: Maximum display is 480p, the controls still need a little tweaking.
The Bottom Line: A fun and innovative system that may just put Nintendo in the lead in the upcoming Console wars.
Review: Nintendo has always tried to be an innovator with gaming in the console world. A lot of their stuff have been flops from the very beginning. Remember the robot that originally came with the system? Virtual boy was a cool idea but the market just wasn’ ...

Epinions We have a Wii! Great Fun for my Kids (and their Parents and Grandparents)!

by  mizgnomer,  Jan 30, 2007
Pros: The games keep my son active! Fun, innovative game play for the whole family!
Cons: Addictive! The graphics aren't as high quality, but I've discovered I really don't care...
The Bottom Line: We really love our Wii. We play it together as a family. It's great at parties too.
Review: When I first started hearing talk of the new Nintendo gaming console (back when it was called the "Revolution"), I knew that I would ultimately end up getting it for my kids. As lovers of computer and video games my husband and I had quite a collection ...

Epinions Nintendo Wii - Beyond the Hype

by  t13monkeys,  Feb 15, 2007
Pros: awesome design, family appeal, easy to setup and play, Wii Channels!
Cons: weak hardware may reduce its lifespan as a console
The Bottom Line: Originally skeptical (and having felt abandoned by Nintendo since the N64) thanks to the Wii, I am now reunited with my first and true love in video games.
Review: Way back in September 06, I wrote an essay with my response to the Nintendo press conference on the Wii and mentioned three concerns I had about the console: would the very hyped controller be a gimmick or an actual fun way to play, would lack of ...

Epinions ~~ HOLD ONTO YOUR Wii ~ WE ARE PLAYING WITH THE NINTENDO Wii ~~

by  kbolton72,  Nov 26, 2007
Pros: Fun, variety, technology
Cons: Price, availability
The Bottom Line: Gets your kids active, great game selection, fun for all
Review: With Christmas peeking right around the corner, I know what it feels like to stand in line for an hour to get one of these hard to find consoles. Last year, I missed my chance, but earlier this year, I was able to get a Nintendo Wii, the hardest ...

Epinions An Open Apology to Nintendo

by  maddogdenny,  Nov 21, 2006
Pros: Most fun game system I've ever played on.
Cons: Controllers might run a pretty penny.
The Bottom Line: With its innovative gameplay, affordable price, and great games, this is the system to buy if you have to go to the next generation.
Review: To whom it may concern at Nintendo, I'll admit it, I had some doubts about your system when I heard about it. But can you blame me? Your odd marketing strategy (which seemed to consist of no marketing strategy whatsoever) coupled with the fact that ...

Epinions The Wii has landed!

by  donut_man23,  Jun 28, 2007
Pros: Slick look in menus and hardware, backwards compatibility, innovative controls, potential, Wii sports
Cons: No DVD playback, lack of HD, not much of a powerhouse, wifi only, friend codes
The Bottom Line: This fun little system offers plenty of differentiating factors to stand out from the rest on its own.
Review: Alright, so you've read about, heard about it, watched it on TV, and perhaps even played one yourself, but is the Wii really worth its (comparitivley) cheap $250 dollar price tag? In a word, yes. Packaged in with the Wii is a Wii remote, the nunchuk ...

Epinions Wii had to have one and Mario had nothing to do with it!

by  walkerpkw,  Mar 27, 2008
Pros: For all ages, very entertaining, burns calories, worth its weight in gold.
Cons: Addictive, hard to get your hands on one today, limited-online store selection of available-games.
The Bottom Line: While there are some disadvantages, the positive outway the few. Get your hands on one and enjoy!
Review: This review is on the Wii console with 5-in-1 Sports game, 1 remote controller with Nunchuk. INTRO: I’ve always owned a Nintendo game system in my house since the introduction of the first “NES” in the mid 80’s. When the new ...

Epinions Nintendo Wii - Not Your Typical Gaming Console

by  AliventiAsylum,  Aug 27, 2007
Pros: interactive style, gets players off the couch, use of sensor controllers, small size, connectivity, personalization
Cons: graphics
The Bottom Line: The Nintendo Wii brought me back into gaming after years of not really playing at all. It will change the way you think about video games.
Review: Hard to believe that in my younger days I was a videogame nut. I went through a Pong console, onto an Atari (and I had almost all the games), and finally a Super NES. Somewhere around that time, my fondness for videogames waned. Although I bought the ...

Epinions "I Want My Nintendo Wii" -Eric Cartman-

by  dimeuhday,  Jan 25, 2007
Pros: Excellent unique gaming. You get in a few hours of exercise as well.
Cons: NONE AT ALL.
The Bottom Line: Awesome gaming console. Don't doubt the Wii. Welcome to the next generation gaming world.
Review: Okay where to start. Me, like every other 12 year old in the world wanted a Nintendo Wii console for Christmas. Me, like 500,000 other people were sadly disappointed on Christmas morning. However, since my sad reality of never receiving one, I decided to ...

Epinions My Wii.

by  StarSoldier1, top reviewer in Games ,  Nov 24, 2006
Pros: I love the new Wii-motes, classic downloads!
Cons: Weaker graphics then other consoles, some games will tire you out.
The Bottom Line: If you are getting bored with typical video games try the Wii here.
Review: Wow, that's the new name Nintendo came up with for their latest gaming console here? Was the older code name Revolution really that bad in the first place? I do admire them going for that more controversial Wii name though. That's all I'll said about ...
