I was very surprised when I got it out of the box, it is a lot heavier than expected, which brings along the problem when you have the lens about halfway and look down or up than it opens or closes under it's own weight which is a problem sometimes but you are likely to be holding the lens anyway... Avoid this lens like the plague
Overall, this lens would normally get a 5-star rating from me. It's sharp, quick to focus, quiet and not overly heavy.
