A "good" all-around lens!
I bought a Canon 10D camera on the Apple Computer Web site, taking advantage of their "instant loan" on-line. However, the selection of lenses was minimal. Of the few available lenses, I chose the Canon 28mm-200mm zoom lens.

A mediocre lens...at best
I bought this lens for use on my Canon Rebel XT. I wanted a good travel lens - so I didn't have to lug a million lenses with me on vacation.
